MAPD2, an example of RAM saving by using the RF program packer.

The MAPD directory takes up 14,488.5 bytes of RAM. After
compressing it with the RFP program on this disk, it shrinks to
only 4,697 bytes, 32% of the original size!
If you keep RFU (the unpacker) in your HOME directory, you can
run MAPD2, functionally identical to MAPD, but only 4852 bytes.
(Instructions for MAPD2 are found in MAPD.DOC).
I highly suggest optimizing all your HP 48 utilities this way. It can
effectively double the amount of RAM you have. See RF.DOC in the
PROGRAMR directory on this disk for complete instructions on the use
of RF, RFP and RFU.
